Multiple Playing Modes and Articulation Key Switches

“F II Guitar” offers you the choice between a few alternate play modes straight out of the box:

  • Keyboard mode –  You can play polyphonically, including multiple notes on the same string.
  • Solo mode –  You can only play monophonically.
  • Standard mode  – You cannot play multiple notes on the same string, but you can slide between those notes or use a hammer on/pull off articulation.

On the main GUI page, you will find all the functions that will change the sound of the guitar in one way or another, including play-mode keyswitches for Normal Sustain, Natural Harmonics, Palm Mutes, Slide Modes, Hammer-on and Pull-off, along with faders for Pick Volume and Randomization, FX levels and Stereo Width/Doubling.

More Controls to Define Your Sound Even Further

In addition the following features will help  you to further define your sound:

  • Adjust levels – for release noise, FX, resonance, and fret sounds.
  • Capo Logic – Intelligent play according to guitar rules.
  • Combined Articulation – combine 2 articulations via pressing 2 keyswitches at the same time.
  • Open String First – Used for high position arpeggios with open strings. When toggled on, notes will be played
priory on open strings regardless of Capo Logic.
  • Tuner – You can tune every string by turning its corresponding tuner, 2 semitones down at most. Tuning
is fully compatible with strummer, tab and all articulations.

Last but not least “F II Guitar”  gives you a choice between Neck and Both pickups that can drastically change the nature of the sound.

All buttons, knobs and sliders on GUI can be controlled by MIDI Controllers via the Customized Parameters Control dialog, simply Alt + click or right-click a control to open the dialog below and assign a controller!

Ample Sound’s well written manuals cover all of the libraries’ features in a lot more detail and are worth a read.
