Many years were spent capturing all these great ambiences and voices from all over the world.

Cafe and restaurants (indoor/outdoor), solo and crowd laughter, applause, footsteps, voices, doors being opened, shut and locked, children playing, church bells, fireworks. Announcements on airports and train stations. Sport-related sounds, with everything from baseball to wrestling: balls being beaten and kicked, karate, fencing, billiard, tennis and gymnastics. Single shots and stadion ambiences.

An additional category of “Alien” is included too with loads of other wordly alien sounds.

What People Think About 75% off “Studio Box Mark III” by Best Service

  • "There are 10,000 effects in this collection; this should be more than enough to cover all your lifetime musical and cinematic, game or similar video editing needs. After all, a good clip of recorded thunder can be better than some other artificial impact. It is a well-rounded collection that can cover all your Foley-effects need for many years to come. It is suitable for all sorts of other purposes, but it is so sweet to abuse things by using them in an unexpected context. And, of course, if you ever start to mess with video (and as a musician, you probably will do so sooner or later), this big collection will definitively be your best friend."

What does the usage include in the license? If this was used for non-musical purposes such as a static ambiance sound in a game, is that included? Thank you.

Hi Devin, this is the EULA (included in the downloaded files) “The purchaser of the media or download is authorized to use the sounds for his music-, multimedia-, film-, TV-, radio-, games-, webcast- or similar production in context, and only as long as no isolated samples, loops or phrases become available for a third party as a similar kind of sound file. It is not allowed to use the samples and programs within a network if this opens the possibility to be used simultaneously by multiple users.”

Hello, thank you for this information. One further question please: would it be posible to use the contents of this library for theatre plays as well? In the case of some of them appearing isolated. Thank you in advance

Yes you can use the library and samples in a live performance in isolation 🙂

Thanks for answering questions about the license. Some further clarification would be helpful. The license states, as already quoted above, “The purchaser of the media or download is authorized to use the sounds for his music-, multimedia-, film-, TV-, radio-, games-, webcast- or similar production in context” – my question is, what EXACTLY is “his production” from the point of view of this license? For example, does it literally need to be your game – as in, you’re a co-owner of the project / game studio? What if you’re working full-time in that studio, as the sound designer, and you have a license to use these sounds in your projects, does your work there still constitute “your project”? (Even though you might be working in another place a couple of years from now, doing sound design in another project; can you use these sounds there as well?) What about the ones who do freelance sound design work, are those commissions “your projects” in the scope of this license? Thanks!

            :

“Your project” means a project that you are working on. You don’t have to “own” the project, be the director of it etc. You just have to be working on it.
