Easily Create Powerful EDM Transitions, Sweeps & More

If you write EDM, you’ll often find yourself using the same sweeps and transitions over and over again.

Liftor saves you time and provides you with a set of transitions, sweeps, rises and falls which can then be mangled and re-shaped into something new again and again.

With multiple modes and a selection of built-in effects (eg. reverb, flanger, distortion and lofi) and randomize options, you’ll create endless variations of rises, falls, transitions and pitch-sweeps!

Liftor features 50 source waveforms to choose from that shape the basic sound. Included are basic sine, saw and pulse waveforms as well as ambient sounds, vox sounds, tones and organs, all kinds of noise sounds and even spoken words.

From here, you can use the onboard effects, incredible randomize features, dual filter, variable length and pitch starting-points, built-in limiter and additional white noise options, to change and further alter the sound into your own.

Liftor also features a randomize button for creating another fresh “sweep” with a click of the mouse! Want an even bigger “lift”? Stack it up within a multi for even bigger and fatter sounds!

Why is it stuck in demo mode? No instructions for how to install.

Hi Josh, if its playing in demo mode, that means you’re using the Kontakt Player. As it says on this page, you need to use the full version of Kontakt and not the free Player

      Hi Carl,

Liftor is a standard open-format Kontakt library, so you can only load and browse its contents by using the normal “Files” and “Database” views in the Kontakt browser. You can also use the “File” menu button at the top of Kontakt. The “Libraries” tab in the Kontakt browser is only designed for locked “Powered-By-Kontakt” Player libraries.

So in order to load up the library, just click on “Files”, navigate to the folder’s location, and double click the .nki file to load it up. 🙂

      Thanks!

its a shame this requires kontakt full.. having to buy kontakt just so I can use third party plugs in general doesnt make a lot of sense unless the music industry had a sit down a la OPEC to price control everything. reason user here so vst is a relatively new realm and let me tell ya.. i cannot believe the amount of bs and hoops ppl have been putting up with to use vsts. we all need to start demanding more reasonable means to access products. companies are losing money every day from thousands of ppl by playing this awkward/greedy NI game. ok, i’ve said my piece. everyone else should start talking too. the industry is supposed to work for us not the other way around. we should not put up with this bs. liftor was going to be a great supplement to air music’s the riser, but i guess not anymore.

ps thank god vst buzz clarified kontakt 5+ full was required for this vst before I hit the buy button (and for shortnoize, liftor, and omega drums – see what I mean.. losing money everyday!). thx vstbuzz. there HAAS to be a better way pun intended.. see what i did there? lol

Hi Spencer, unfortunately it costs developers over $10k to make a “Kontakt Player” compatible sample library and then around $30 per license for a Kontakt Player library. That means the price for creating sample libraries that don’t require “the full version of Kontakt” is prohibitively high for developers and they are only able to develop for the full version of Kontakt.

That being said, 2017 is the best time ever to be a music producer as music software (and hardware) has never been as cheap as it is nowadays.

I’d highly recommend getting Komplete from Native Instruments (it includes Kontakt full) as its an incredible value music software bundle and you can get access to thousands of great sample libraries that use Kontakt full 🙂

If you do not see the value of owning professional tools, perhaps you need to find a new hobby. There are a lot of free plugins and music software to get started. If you want to use pro quality gear, you need to decide if your interest in music is worth the investment.
