“PF Piano FZ” is a beautifully handmade Italian Gran Coda of 284cm, carefully and deeply sampled by Xperimenta Audio’s engineers in an unforgettable one-week session at Rocchi Studios in Rome.
Their mission was to respectfully represent its exceptional power, wide dynamic range, magnificent spectral balance and its clear and fascinating harmonic richness and depth.
The Piano
“PF Piano FZ” comes with 24 Dynamic Layers hand calibrated, real sympathetic resonance samples, overtones sampled for each interval, and detailed noises such as hammers and pedal.
The library was recorded at the Rocchi Studios in Rome, at 96khz, using only top-end gear, including vintage tube and ribbon microphones for a deep and warm sound.
The library provides four microphone settings: CLOSE, MIDDLE, ROOM, MIX.
The Engine
“PF Piano FZ” comes with an intuitive and user-friendly GUI, that allows the user to have total control over the sound.
The engine also features an ADSR, a powerful Formant Control, more than 25 Space IR and 20 Special FX, Width control, and a simulation of the phisic behaviours of a piano, like repedaling, soft-pedaling and overtones.
“PF Piano FZ” also comes with more than 20 ready-to-go presets, designed by Xperimenta Project’s team.
