Equilibrium

Equilibrium is a small but exclusive selection of 64 fresh Omnisphere presets, crafted by sound designer and producer legend Arksun and curated by Luftrum.

Equilibrium contains usable and expressive presets with fewer soundscapes and textures – sounds that are unique and utterly addictive to play!

From cinematic pads to driving arpeggio plucks and sequences, soaring yet sedating synth keys and leads and a good handful of cutting-through basses. This soundset for Omnisphere is aimed towards filmscore and game composers but also very suitable for any production in need of electronic elements.

All presets have a few dB headroom and are sorted in official Spectrasonics categories, have modwheel assigned and aftertouch when appropriate. There’s a PDF guide included, describing how to install the set.

Also included as a bonus, are four desktop wallpapers of the cover art, including a 4K UHD 3840×2160 version to the most widely used 1920×1080. The artwork for the cover is created by concept artist Mikhail Greuli and licensed with permission.

Ambient Soundscapes

Ambient Soundscapes is the first soundset by Danish ambient producer and sound designer Lauge, released exclusively on the Luftrum brand.

With a long history of writing electronic music, Henrik Laugesen better known under the pseudonym Lauge or as part of Lauge & Baba Gnohm, still continues to express himself through deep and melancholic soundscapes ranging from beatless drones to IDM and Glitch.

With a career spanning over two decades and releases with many major labels, Lauge has established a very firm foothold within the Ambient genre, which is deeply rooted in the foundation of the Luftrum brand.

Lauge’s debut set Ambient Soundscapes contains 72 ambient presets for Omnisphere and delivers a variety of ambient sounds from lush to distorted pads to beatless textures and warped drones, mysterious soundscapes, glitchy experimental keys and bits of uncrowded dusty anomalies.

Moreover, the set is infused with a few acid lines and spacey arpeggios, perfect for ambient and drone subgenres, summing up a set that feels ascending and meditative at the same time.

The set shines in the low end of the keyrange and the presets invite you to set the BPM to 40 and reach deep down your keyboard, sustaining and holding single notes or simple chords to hear them unfold over time, while you close your eyes and drift away in time and space.

The set is inspired by ambient electronic artists such as Hilyard, SVLBRD, Carbon Based Lifeforms, Dawn Chorus and the Infallible Sea, Endless Melancholy and Zakè.

Ambient Soundscapes is created in Omnisphere 2.6, so you need that version or later to play the sounds. All presets are sorted in official Spectrasonics categories and have a few dB headroom. There’s a PDF guide included describing how to install the set, it’s an easy 1-click installation.

Auralis

Auralis is an Omnisphere preset bank of 128 cinematic presets for Omnisphere v2.6 or later, created by sound designer Stephan Baer and curated by Luftrum. You need to have version 2.6 or later, to fully take advantage of the soundset.

Auralis contains bespoke sounds created for Pedro Macedo Camacho’s score on Star Citizen an upcoming multiplayer sci-fi video game that combines classic space sim gameplay with boundary-pushing visuals in a massively multiplayer setting.

Auralis is influenced by the scores of Interstellar (Hans Zimmer) and Tron Legacy (Daft Punk) and is perfect for any underscore situation that requires ambient pads and atmospheres, pulsing animated arpeggios, sub basses with layered textures and inspiring poly synths.

Many of the presets in the collection ended up in the final game music and the composer behind the game have said the following about the Omnisphere preset bank: “I was instantly transfixed by these sounds. They complimented my existing orchestral score perfectly and took the project to the next level. Very inspiring sounds!”Pedro Macedo Camacho, composer for Star Citizen.

All presets are sorted in official Spectrasonics categories all leaving a few dB headroom. Many presets offer added adaptability programmed into the modwheel. Aftertouch and velocity is used for more expression, to make these sounds come alive.

There’s a PDF guide included, describing how to install the set. Cover art is created by conceptual artist and illustrator Tarmo Juhola and licensed with permission.
