A Modern Minimalistic GUI With Powerful Sound Creation Tools
“DRC Synth” features a modern looking, minimalistic interface with several different colour variations to choose from and has been designed to be as accessible and uncluttered as possible… it is very easy to use.
It also features a cloud-based preset management system, which means that sounds to be shared across all available platforms.
DRC Synth works equally well for everything from analog-style pads and lush textures to crazy sound effects and stonking basses.
With up to eight voices, each with two oscillators, a ring modulator, sub oscillator and noise, DRC is a beefy and versatile subtractive synth.
The integrated and intuitive chorder makes it easy to instantly get the most out of your polyphonic synthesizer, by experimenting with powerful chords.
In normal use you’re given a choice of either a regular keyboard (complete with over 20 scales, including a user scale) or a set of chord buttons.
The chord buttons are broken up into major, minor and seventh chords with the strum pads at either side.

The DRC Synth sound engine features two oscillators accompanied by a sub oscillator and a noise generator, a multi-mode filter, two envelope generators and two LFOs. These are broken down as follows:
- Five filter modes (two LPs, one HP, one BP, and one HP)
- The 4-pole LPF delivers that classic Moog filter flavour
- The 2-pole LPF delivers something that sounds fairly similar to Korg MS-20’s screaming filter vibe
Paired with the decent sounding OSC section and the excellent sounding chorus effect, DRC’s low-pass filter duo is capable of delivering some seriously fat bass sounds, as well as juicy distorted leads!
The DRC Synth also comes with the following high quality effects modules built-in:
- Reverb – Lush Stereo Reverb with modulation and self growing decay.
- Chorus – True stereo, analog modeled and multi mode.
- Delay – Stereo Tape Delay with time modulation.
Last but definitely not least, DRC comes with an awesome arpeggiator with 4 modes, tempo sync and hold function. Overall the DRC Synth provides more than enough synthesis firepower for hours of knob tweaking fun!
