About Marcos Ciscar
[Marcos Ciscar] is a Swedish composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist with Spanish heritage.
Besides the continuous release of solo albums, his compositional work focuses mainly on music for TV and films. His great interest in musical instruments from around the world has inspired him to become a developer of sample libraries.
He strives for simplicity, playability and musicality.

Marcos Ciscar libraries are generally focused with flexibility and Metallophones is no exception. I agree with the previous review and I want to point out some aspects that I appreciated. The simple interface does have an effective filter/resonance combination; the Attack control often shows that samples are generally recorded with sharp transients; the Release control can generally and very effectively yield dry samples/sounds; a number of the samples are surprisingly long; and, joy of joys, what’s lacking on the front panel (including arps, efx, etc) are available via Kontakt’s spanner and adjustments don’t wipe out the interface. It’s a neat little bargain.
