Musiqual Blue MKII
An Exquisite EQ With 16 Available Bands
Musiqual Blue MKII is committed to delivering a digital – yet so analogue – equalisation, with a very vivid flavour one can almost ‘taste’. An exquisite EQ with 16 bands to choose from, forged from the experience gained over countless working hours on Class A analogue equipment. It allows the user to add or subtract basic frequencies without the usual digital restrictions.
The Musiqual tools encapsulate all the characteristics and inner workings of their analog counterparts, and provide the user with a simple way to achieve the perfect combination of tone and color.
Musiqual Blue MKII boasts sound colouring options that assist the musical analogies of harmonics, while providing precise control over the intensity of these harmonic frequencies. Its coloration capability is one essential feature among many others, giving this digital tool and its user the ‘magical power’ to recreate the much respected and celebrated analogue sound of the pre-digital era.
Features
- Inspired by top Class A analogue gear from the 80’s
- Carefully selected and tuned frequency bands
- Equivalent to expensive Class A equipment, with very vivid flavour
- Input/Output Control
- Harmonic Distortion (Tube-Transistor-ClassA)
- Compressor
- Resizable GUI
Musiqual Green MKII
Transistor Flavourd Semi-Parametric EQ
Musiqual Green MKII is a semi parametric EQ, delivering a fairly transparent sound with the ‘transistor’ flavour that is so characteristic of analogue technology. ‘Colouring’ choice is soft and discrete, handing over complete control of the level of ‘colouring’ to the user.
Musiqual GREEN liberates the user by not restricting one into preset bands, therefore leaving them complete access to the full frequency range. Musiqual Green MKII adds or subtracts colour, providing that classical, yet still so interesting, 1990’s sound.
Features
- Transistor flavoured, semi parametric EQ
- Soft and discrete colouration, with transparent sound
- No preset bands. Access to the full frequency range
- Input/Output Control
- Harmonic Distortion (Tube-Transistor-ClassA)
- Compressor
- Resizable GUI
Musiqual Red MKII
Analogue Tube Flavoured EQ
Musiqual Red MKII is an analogue tube flavoured, single band EQ. It possesses a strong Tube flavour, boasting 31 pre-set frequency bands very familiar to Tube enthusiasts, across generations.
The way that it adds or subtracts colour is however more intense, while accompanied by a profound change in timbre. Its sound is of the type that the passionate Tube enthusiast lives for.
Musiqual Red MKII is destined to bring up sweet memories of historical and beloved equalizers to the older generation of sound engineers.
Features
- Analogue tube flavoured, single band EQ

Thomas – :
One can’t deny that, compared to the normal RRP, this is undoubtedly a good deal. However, I’m absolutely baffled by the choice of “premium features” which the MIA Labs team seem to think justifies turning a *previously free* set of plugins into this collection of “super” plugins. And by “features”, I really mean “feature”, because aside from the volume maximising scale seeming to have more of a non-linear curve on the premium versions (but ultimately the EQ algorithms are EXACTLY the same), the only notable deviation from the free versions is the mysterious “D” button. What does it do? Is it magic? Prey tell of what these inspiring delights the MIA Labs folks have added for anyone stupid enough to pay money for a previously free plugin are?? Well, spoiler alert – you know that latency delay compensation, that basically ALL plugins have as standard, which tells your host DAW if DSP delay is added? Yeah, well, the MIA Labs team removed it (meaning the default setting makes your audio out-of-sync) and then, in a stroke of “emperor’s new clothes” marketing genius, they decided to add the exotic wonders of the “D” button…. a button unlike any other, this is the button of all buttons – listen, you’re not gonna find a more buttony button anywhere else OK?? Behold!! IT TURNS THE DELAY COMPENSATION BACK ON AGAIN….?!??!?!?! What?? How on Earth is that even a thing???? As for the “Musicual EQs”… well, I never ever even slightly pondered whether I really needed a SINGLE BAND (??) generic analogue emulation plugin with no oversampling – let alone 3 of them. But alas, I nonetheless now own 3 of them. Can you alter the Q curves? Can you my ****!! Oh well, life goes on I guess… I’m going to go back and play with my “D” button. Maybe if I play with it enough I’ll start loving it? Perchance to dream…
