This new version of “PSP PianoVerb2” offers a redesigned GUI with a brand new resizing feature and a new preset management system.
With the addition of a brand new modulation section and the ability to set up multiple settings of time and damping and decay freezing (via the A/B comparison function) this plug-in delivers amazing options for creative use.
Add to that some other amazing new additions such as a high pass filter section, independent dry/wet controls, and a reverb tail freeze control, it’s easy to see how PianoVerb2 has become a comprehensive and truly unique algorithmic reverb.
Whenever you want to add some natural resonance to a weak piano track, vitalize your lead guitar with a bit of sustain, or simply add a touch of a unique reverb to a track, PSP PianoVerb2 can do the job!
Controls
- Select Button – this button allows you to select Time and Damp settings A or B.
- Freeze Switch – turns the time and damp freezing on or off.
- Feed Switch – when engaged an audio signal feeds the resonant structure of the PianoVerb2.
- Time A/B – sets the length of the resonant reverberation for settings A or B respectively.
- Damp A/B – sets the high frequency damping factor for settings A or B.
- Trim – sets the gain for a setting B.
- ModFreq – sets the frequency of the reverb modulation.
- ModDepth – sets the amount of modulation.
- Tune – tunes the set of strings by -100 to +100 cents.
- Transpose – allows changes in transposition for a string system.
- Detune – detunes a set of strings for various effects like improperly tuned instrument or simply a more convincing reverberator.
- Spread – sets the stereo width of the reverb.
- HPF – sets the input high pass filter’s cut-off frequency in the reverb chain.
- Dry – controls the amount of a dry signal on the output. Set to 5 to achieve 0dB gain.
- Wet – sets the amount of a wet – reverb signal on the output. Set to 5 to achieve 0dB gain.

Very good reverb plugin. Unusual, it works great with the piano, but also with guitars. Recommend. It will certainly come in handy in any studio.

In an industry drowning in marketing hype, this reverb actually *is unique amongst the 8,093 other reverbs available. And it’s PSPaudioware, so you know it’s quality. The only downside of this or any PSPaudioware plugins is they use PACE’s garbage iLOK scheme. I miss their old copy protection that didn’t torment me. That said, I don’t deduct points/stars in ratings for poorly chosen copy “protection,” so Ten Stars. **********
