Omnisphere Colossus I
Omnisphere Colossus is a collection of 600 patches (and 130 multis) for Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 synth.
Having created factory patches for the release of Omnisphere 2, Colossus was The Unfinished’s first commercial release for the synth and is aimed at cinematic underscore and Hollywood action music – though it will also be very useful for atmospheric electronica, ambient and neo-classical styles.
If you write for films, games or television, you will find enormous inspiration in the multitude of dynamic basslines, lo-fi drumloops, analogue and organic pads, emotional guitars, vivid synths, punchy basses, lyrical pianos, dramatic percussion, widescreen hits and impacts, expressive mallets and bells, ethereal textures and dark soundscapes.
Colossus has been carefully designed to deliver the ultimate collection of synths, instruments, loops and textures for modern composing, heavily inspired by the work of Harry Gregson-Williams and James Newton Howard. Scores such as Deja Vu, Gone Baby Gone, Phone Booth, Total Recall, Bourne Legacy, Michael Clayton, The Equalizer and Salt have been major influences on this soundset.
However, this collection is not about emulation, but about vibe. It takes the baton from powerful and emotional modern film scores, and pushes them in new and useful directions, allowing the user to produce original but much in demand cinematic music.
As well as 600 patches, Colossus also includes 130 multis, combining and stacking various patches for instant inspiration. Each patch comes with careful programming on the modwheel, to allow quick and dynamic sound design.
Important Note: These patches require that you own Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 to work, which can be purchased HERE.
Omnisphere Colossus II
Omnisphere Colossus II is a collection of 400 patches and 70 multis for Omnisphere 2.
This library is the follow-up to The Unfinished’s 2016 best-seller, Omnisphere Colossus, and is aimed at providing great sounds for cinematic action and underscore. Like its predecessor it is inspired in particular by the music of Harry Gregson-Williams and James Newton Howard, resulting in a soundset that is packed with kinetic energy, dark atmosphere and driving pulse.
Colossus II expands on the original, providing both more of the same and also zeroing in on a few sonic areas that needed focus. In particular there are more percussive loops, cinematic hits, sombre textures, as well as more light/organic sequences.
At its heart, Colossus II is bristling with punchy, vibrant drama and sophisticated, subtle tension. As ever there are a raft of suspenseful and dramatic grooves and arps; esoteric and epic pads and soundscapes; booming and striking basses and drums; plus widescreen guitars, emotive pianos, hybrid bells, and all sorts of pulsating and moody noises.
This soundset is inspired by soundtracks such as Deja Vu, The Martian, Phone Booth, The Equalizer, Man on Fire, Bourne Legacy, Salt, Michael Clayton, and Nightcrawler, whilst also keeping an eye on a few other favourite modern scores, to make sure Colossus II provides you with sounds that are classic, contemporary and forward thinking
Each patch has been carefully crafted and features hands-on, dynamic control via the modwheel. Plus, there are 70 multis to provide you with quick and easy ideas for sketching – ideal for when deadlines are fast approaching.
Colossus II is all you need to create compelling and cutting edge scores for film, TV and games. Just add orchestra.

Omnisphere Colossus III
Omnisphere Colossus III is a collection of 400 patches for Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2.
The third part of the Colossus series continues where the others left off, providing a wealth of sounds designed for atmospheric, Hollywood underscore and action music. Colossus III is particularly inspired by the work of Harry Gregson-Williams and James Newton Howard.
It is full of punch, subtlety, dynamism and depth. Driving basslines, dark percussion, creamy pads, delicate pianos, moving guitars, intricate soundscapes and moody textures all blend together to provide a powerful toolbox of cinematic sounds.
Colossus III expands upon the previous two instalments by adding more percussive and organic elements. New drum content includes dusty top lines, deep rhythms and even breakbeats. Plus, there are a wealth of acoustic and mallet sequences, as well as lighter, more ambient soundscapes.
Each patch is carefully programmed and features compelling options via the modwheel.
Tension, thrills, emotion, ambience… Colossus III delivers them all.
There is also a Deluxe version of Colossus III that features 50 bonus patches that use the sound sources from the Bob Moog Tribute Library and you will need it to use the bonus patches.
Important Note: These patches require that you own Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 to work, which can be purchased HERE.
Note: The 50 extra patches in this Deluxe version of the soundset require that you own the Spectrasonics’ Bob Moog Tribute Library addon, which is not included in this deal.
Omnisphere Colossus IV
Omnisphere Colossus IV is a collection of 400 patches for Spectrasonics’ genre-defining Omnisphere 2.
The fourth instalment in the series continues the trail blazed by the previous three; offering cutting edge sonic weaponry, designed for the modern composer and producer.
This soundset gives you everything you need from subtle, edgy pads and pulses, up to earth-shattering drums and basslines – as well as everything you could need in between.
Inspired by the atmospheric and dynamic work of composers such as Harry Gregson-Williams (The Equalizer), Henry Jackman (Jack Reacher) and John Powell (Bourne).
Colossus IV provides a wealth of analogue, organic and hybrid tones suitable for sophisticated underscore and dramatic action.
Colossus IV is full of thrilling synth sequences, driven bass pulses, tense drones, sublime pads, driving percussive rhythms, plus heart-wrenching pianos and guitars, agile sfx and haunting textures: all creating an emotional, breath-taking and epic toolkit for modern music production.

An incredibly diverse pack of sounds for Omnisphere. Useful in many genres of electronic music and beyond.
Stephen – :
It’s the Unfinished. The guy has done work with Hans Zimmer on Dune and Bond. I only wish there were slightly less arp patches and more other stuff. However, there’s an ample enough amount of those too, so it’s 10/10 for me, especially for the price.
Nikolai – :
A bundle with great sounds all around, very musical, playable and immediately usable. 1800 patches is out of this world!
Victor – :
Stunning atmospherics. Inspiring. I don’t usually spring for patch sets, but this one is what I’ve been looking for.
Darcey – :
Not bad, Nice additions to the collection which uses the built in omni factory sounds, lots of ideas to be had.
Sylvestre – :
Monster pack, lot of various sounds. Ideal for any media project. From percussive stuff to lush pads.
The colossus pack and its author: “The Unfinished” are references in the world of presets for synths like omnisphere.
Note in volume three, the deluxe version which requires an additional omnisphere sound pack not provided here. But the huge amount of sound available is incomparable.
And you can’t miss the deal!
