Veevum Astra – Complex Evolving
Veevum Astra is the fourth member of the VEEVUM SERIES. With this installment, Audiofier wanted to explore new soundscapes possibilities, producing more evolving recordings as the sources of Veevum Astra’s samples pool.
Veevum Astra’s sounds mutate over time, in unpredictable ways, even within the same sound source. Coupled with VEEVUM SERIES’ unique engine, these sounds will never sound stale or repetitive. VEEVUM is a growing series of Ambient and Cinematic instruments for modern producers and composers.

Veevum Real offers sound sources that derive from recordings of acoustic instruments and have been subsequently processed in many different ways. Some audio files have been manipulated so intensively that they are almost unrecognisable.
The result gives life to unique textures and soundscapes that still retain the organic nature of the original recordings. Some other samples come from instrument performances which have a more free tempo rhythmic nature. These sound sources provide unpredictability and unexpected results in the sound canvas, which makes the overall soundscape less stale and evolving.

Veevum Sync – Gold Edition, Audiofiers’ 9th instalment in the VEEVUM SERIES, includes multi-sampled loops of acoustic instrument performances that will add organic pulse, momentum and motion.
VEEVUM SYNC sound sources include pulses, riffs, phrases, rhythms, arpeggios, sparse melodies and effects.
VEEVUM SYNC loops can be divided into slices which will play in random order, following specific preset patterns, or a user defined order.
Loops can be synced to HOST tempo or play double speed or half speed.

This is a fantastic bargain if your music uses background washes or throbbing rhythmic backdrops. Many of the snaphots gradually evolve, so you can set ’em and leave ’em. Also, if your music theory is a bit shaky, you can force random notes into recogniseable scales. Eight instead of ten stars only because these sounds will not necessarily suit every genre, but great value for money.
