The BlueBeast – Yamaha EX5

This is the plugin you’ve been waiting for! In keeping with the same incredible structure and flexibility as Pure Synth Platinum, this is the most exhaustive virtual instrument emulation and sample library ever created of the Yamaha EX5.

You get full access to the raw waveforms and VL instruments, as well as a complete emulation of the AN synth engine. These are NOT samples. It is a full synthesis emulation of the AN1 and of the EX5.

Gospel Musicians have interpolated the AN1 waveforms using FFT and mipmapping synthesis, while keeping the same Edge, Sync and Feedback functionality that was so loved from the AN1x, so you really get two synths in one!

Finally, through the power of UVI and sophisticated synthesis and sampling techniques, Gospel Musicians have managed to implement many of the sought after FDSP engines from the EX5, such as: Ring Modulator, Pulse-Width-Modulation, Tornado, Seismic, and a FULL FM synth (not just the FDSP Self-FM).

They were even able to sample the water effects and rout them through the full filter section and envelopes!

As an added bonus, the developers have included the full range of EX5 EPs which is what people loved the most about the EX5. We can safely say that you should be able to create close to 85% of your original sounds with the BlueBeast and in many cases you will be able to create better presets due to the high quality effects and synthesis that UVI provides!

TGX-99 – Yamaha SY99/TG77

The “TGX-99” is a Yamaha SY-99/TG-77 virtual instrument sample library based off of the Pure Synth Platinum platform.

In keeping with the amazing structure of PSP, Gospel Musicians have included ALL of the raw sample waveforms from the actual hardware. You get 4–oscillators in which to combine your waveforms as well as two filters and two LFOs per oscillator. The arp and gate can be global or per oscillator, depending on the template you choose.

In many ways the “TGX-99” rivals that of the actual hardware, because of the added modulation sources, the number and quality of effects as well as greater polyphony. The goal of the TGX-99 is to virtually put the feeling of the actual hardware right into your hands!

Since the SY99 contained one of the most sophisticated and advanced FM engines (AFM and RCM) of any of the Yamaha keyboards, they could not replicate this. In fact no one really can.

So in order to compensate, we have included a re-creation of the original 128 factory presets from the actual hardware by using sampling, synthesis, and sophisticated UVI scripting techniques. Gospel Musicians were even able to model the actual reverbs of the unit in order to provide the most realistic experience possible to owning the hardware.

The “TGX-85” is a Yamaha SY-85/TG-500 virtual instrument based on Gospel Musicians’ Pure Synth Platinum.

In keeping with the amazing structure of PSP, Gospel Musicians have included ALL of the raw waveforms from the actual hardware, including the old school drum kits. You get 4–oscillators in which to combine your patches as well as two filters, and two LFOs of which are not offered on the hardware.

The SY/TG is best known for it’s spacious and lush pads; moog-like synth bass, vintage analog brass sounds, very realistic solo strings, the absolute best dance/house piano, and an overall amazing 90’s pop feel!

The raw digital/gritty sound makes it sound very unique and special. The synth brass, synth bass, pads, and raw waveforms are very unique and make for some very dirty, digital, and analog sounding pads and synths.

The best part is that the developers feel that M5/UVI has some of the best effects out of any VST, so combining both makes for an amazing virtual emulation. You take those raw low-fi digital samples and you combine them with modern filters and effects, and you get this reminiscent digital synth with an edge!
