For this discounted price this was a no brainer. Very easy to get a repeated hats triggered or simply just a single hit. Also very nice presets setup so you only have to bring in just a few final tweaks to end up with some great fills.

This is so much fun! This makes more sense for me to use than trying to find the areas to add triplets and glitch fills. I can move the trigger note and find the perfect pattern. With all the sound design options, you can come up with a huge assortment of hat sounds. And it’s interesting for me to realize how hat sounds are as much as important as finding the perfect kick sound. Also, as a little caveat: you can also make fun, trippy rhythmic sounds with this and not just standard hi hats. Sometimes the simplest plugins make for a world of creativity

after messing with this tonight….i’ll say there’s a lot i like about this plugin and just as much that i don’t. FIRST the bad news….1) no overall presets and no ability to save your own. 2) you have to individually select the available samples…you can’t simply scroll through the sounds.
3) you only have 12 patterns which btw aren’t sequencer-based >>> THE GOOD NEWS is that with some struggle you can manage some interesting hi-hat parts….this plugin will not make achieving hi-hats easier…..but it can allow you to achieve some things you might not otherwise think of. …and that can be a good thing, oftentimes.

A unique plug in, don’t be fooled into just thinking this is for Hats though, you can load up any sample for some crazy effects. The quality of presets is also first class, with Thenatan also offering extra free presets on their own site too.

Very useful for those creative hi hat rolls and fx. Well worth the price, especially if you use hats on most of your tracks.

It is simple, but you can create interesting patterns depending on the combination of keymaps.

This definitely makes rolling the hats easier. I haven’t gone too terribly in depth with it, but the value holds up. I have to say, my rating would’ve been higher if I could save presets and tweak the rolls with a step sequencer.
