What Is This Library All About?
“Clarinet Drama Textures” is a tool created for anyone who is looking for an unconventional approach to using a traditional instrument, and creating original, evolving organic textures, allowing you to score a scene in an instant.
Tabs Overview
At Inlet Audio they believe in “see you who are playing” which is why they include headshots of all of their Recording Artists on their user interfaces.
The A and B sides of the instrument and its effects work completely independently. Each side (A and B) comes with two tabs, “Main” and “FX”. This allows you to manipulate each side (A and B) differently for maximum creativity.
MAIN TABS
Both Main Tabs contain the same options:
- Dropdown Menu which lets you choose from 15 articulations
- Envelope (ADSR)
- Filter (Cutoff, Resonance, Bandwidth)
- Miscellaneous (Pan, Pitch, Volume)
FX TABS
Both FX Tabs contain the same options:
- Reverb – 5 modes: Chamber, Cathedral, Hall, Plate, Home. Controls include Pre Delay, Size & Mix
- Delay – 5 modes: Modern, Analog, Tape, Vintage, Diffusion. Controls include Feedback, Time & Mix
BYPASS BUTTONS
You can find bypass buttons on the upper right hand corner of the built-in filter, reverb and delay effects which allows you to turn on or off these effects.
EXPRESSION FADER
The expression (“EXP”) fader on the left side of the user interface allows you to control the overall expression of your blend of sounds (A and B side) making this instrument very expressive and versatile.

Linus – :
Good price for an organic palette of clarinets. Goes extra well together with Spitfire’s swarm and evo libraries.
Parijat – :
Great deal for a very good textural sounds library. The ability to combine two different articulations to create unique and interesting sounds is extremely rare at this price point.
Peter – :
The viola version is the best of this series I think but this is very interesting to have clarinet phrases and aleatorics and textural elements. Can blend in with other texture libraries etc for some variety quite nicely. Plus the company is upgrading the cello library so there may be a future still in these products.
