Omnisphere is a must-have tool for all modern composers and music producers nowadays. There is a saying that if you can’t find a usable sound in Omnisphere’s extensive factory library, then the instrument is probably not for you.
But what if you need more? There are numerous paid-for expansions for Omnisphere, but what if you are on a ZERO budget? The good news is that we’ve scouted for a few great Omnisphere sound packs which are completely FREE!
1. Airwave – 20 Year Omnisphere Power Pack
This free library is a smaller collection of the Airwave 20 years Power Pack for Omnisphere created by Belgian DJ and Producer Airwave. Airwave, AKA Laurent Veronnez, created this pack to celebrate 20 years of success as a DJ and Producer and to share some samples of his most popular preset pack.
The 20 Years Power Pack and the free sample pack were created for cinematic and electronic production. Perfect for underscore as well as dance music, this is an excellent addition for any producer or composer that owns Omnisphere. Following the tastes of Airwave, the pack features organic and synthetic sounds with a focus on rhythmic and melodic arpeggiators and sequencers.
2. Indefinable Audio – Afraid Of The Dark FREE
Afraid Of The Dark FREE is a free version of Afraid Of The Dark for Omnisphere 2. It contains 20 patches from the original library and even though the patches have somewhat limited functionality compared to the full library, there are some great sounds here that many composers and dark ambient artists will absolutely love. It’s a great way try Afraid Of The Dark before you buy it!
